You go from doctor to doctor but no one can figure out why you are hurting. The most triggering part is when they tell you that your symptoms are "all in your head". You know what you are experiencing is real. After years of searching without answers, you're starting to fear they will never go away. You want to learn how to make peace with your body and, hopefully, feel better.
Hi, my name is Hannah and I specialize in treating people with chronic pain, chronic illness, fibromyalgia, and fatigue. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I also specialize in the treatment of trauma, which can sometimes be related. I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Pain Reprocessing Therapy in sessions. Through my years of practice, I’ve learned that humans aren’t built to recover alone. I believe in working together to restore your relationship with your body, decrease stress, and connect with the healing energy already inside you.

Get to Know Hannah:
Who is your ideal client?
I mostly like to work with folks who are experiencing chronic pain or illness and are willing to explore ways that their nervous systems, brains, and emotions may play a role in their suffering. My ideal client is looking for a partner or an ally in their healing journey- whatever that looks like.
What's something you wish people knew about therapy or the therapy process?
I wish people knew that most of the time, they already have the answers and healing power inside of them. The goal of our therapy is to help you tap into that energy within yourself.
Why do you like being a therapist?
I love being a therapist because I am able to reflect people's strengths and progress back to them. I get to watch people make real progress and start to feel better.
Besides being a therapist, what do you enjoy in your spare time?
I have 3 sweet dogs that I love to play with and cuddle. I have recently gotten really into rock hunting on Michigan lakes (my favorite rock to find is a Petoskey stone!). I love to notice the birds wherever I go and then google their spiritual meaning just for fun. I also love to try new restaurants and foods!
